Job Overview

Trial Balance Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Finance Manager to fill an interim position at one of our long-standing clients' headquarters in Cornwall. This 9-12 month, full-time contract will involve managing the company's financial protocols, ensuring compliance with reporting standards, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain robust internal controls and accounting protocols
  • Ensure compliance with relevant reporting standards
  • Identify and implement ongoing improvements to the finance function
  • Serve as a key point of contact for external stakeholders and major suppliers
  • Deliver detailed management accounts on a regular basis
  • Manage payroll, excluding administrative tasks
  • Liaise regularly with investors and internal stakeholders

Requirements:

We are looking for a dynamic and down-to-earth Finance Manager with a proven track record of success. A professionally qualified individual (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or someone with suitable vocational experience is required. You should have a solid background in staff supervision, financial report preparation, knowledge of accounting standards, and budgetary controls. Leadership skills and up-to-date industry knowledge are also essential.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
