Job Title: Quality, Compliance and Patient Safety Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality, Compliance and Patient Safety Analyst to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the improvement of patient safety and quality of care.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Patient Safety Learning Response Lead in providing Trust-wide oversight of patient safety themes. This will involve analysing and disseminating patient safety data, as well as contributing to the development of systems and processes related to patient safety.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support corporate teams with incident investigations
  • Collate and present safety performance data, analysing themes and trends
  • Develop innovative ways to support the organisation in learning from incidents and other safety-related intelligence
  • Deliver training on patient safety and compliance
  • Review safety information to gain a better understanding of patient care within the Trust and drive improvements
  • Provide expertise in using Datix and work with the Risk System Coordinator to support hospitals with queries and troubleshooting
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have recent experience in the safety and quality governance environment, with a focus on patient safety, clinical risk, and compliance. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to analyse complex data and present findings clearly.
