Culinary Team Member Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Junior NPD Chef to join our culinary team in Camden, London. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will assist in food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support the culinary team in ensuring a smooth kitchen operation.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and well-maintained at all times, adhering to health and safety standards
  2. Receive and store all items ordered for the kitchen, utilizing your organizational skills
  3. Cook and prepare food as per senior NPD chef's instructions, applying your basic culinary skills
  4. Support food tastings and presentations, showcasing our dishes to their full potential, highlighting attention to detail
  5. Prepare and serve food for internal events and hospitality, providing exceptional customer service, with a focus on time management
  6. Order food items for photo shoots, then box them up for transportation, ensuring timely delivery, with adaptability
  7. Maintain a clean and orderly appearance in line with brand and legal standards, promoting a positive work environment, with physical stamina
  8. Assist colleagues, promote teamwork, and communicate openly, fostering a collaborative atmosphere, with effective communication
  9. Adhere to Food Safety and Health and Safety standards, prioritizing the well-being of our team and customers, with a learning attitude
  10. Assist in training new team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise, with organizational skills
  11. Support new unit openings when required, helping to establish a successful kitchen operation, with adaptability

Key Qualifications:

  1. Basic Culinary Skills, including cooking techniques and ingredient handling
  2. Food Safety Knowledge, ensuring compliance with industry regulations
  3. Adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to learn and grow
  4. Team Collaboration, effective communication, and a positive attitude

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum
