Job Title:

Portfolio Administrator Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Portfolio Administrator Specialist.

You will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with independent financial advisers, providing market-leading service and support.

  • Key responsibilities include processing client and adviser firms' instructions efficiently, focusing on personal development, and continually improving the service to advisers.

Responsibilities:Portfolio Administration

  • Provide high-quality service to clients via phone calls, responding promptly and supplying all necessary information on the first call.
  • Carry out instructions received via post, online, and email in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Adhere to all processes and meet daily deadlines to ensure consistent service and compliance with FCA regulations.
  • Understand the risks and governance requirements for the Group and adhere to controls in place, flagging and escalating risks and errors found.
Relationship Management
  • Manage and develop relationships with financial adviser firms based in the UK region.
  • Understand the different business models of Adviser firms managed.
  • Owning and managing relationships with several key adviser firms.

Requirements:Education & Knowledge Requirements

  • Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent with at least a 'C' in English and Maths.
  • Desirable:
  • Financial Services Qualification (IOC, CFP)
  • Knowledge and understanding of ISAs and Pensions
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Unit Trusts, OEICs, ETFs, and equities
  • Knowledge of Onshore and Offshore Bonds
  • Knowledge of structured products, fixed interest products, and Investment Trusts
Experience Requirements
  • Previous experience in a client-facing or customer service-based role.
  • Desirable:
  • Experience of providing direct service to financial advisers
  • Minimum of 18 months of financial services experience

Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
