Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Waste Specialist to join our team at Biffa Waste Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient processing of hazardous waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing hazardous wastes upon arrival at the site
  • Ensuring compliance with site requirements and health and safety protocols
  • Working closely with site operatives to ensure timely and safe processing of waste
  • Bulking and re-packing of waste to maximize profitability

Requirements:

  • Minimum HND in Chemistry or similar qualification with significant chemistry content
  • Industrial experience in the chemical or waste industry preferred
  • Supervisory or leadership experience beneficial
