Junior Execution Trader

At DG Partners, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Execution Trader to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute FX and futures trades with precision and accuracy
  • Minimize transaction costs and optimize execution performance using trading metrics
  • Monitor market liquidity, positions, rolls, and exposures to ensure seamless trading operations
  • Perform ad-hoc duties such as P&L reporting, monitoring global news events, and data releases
  • Understand the broader market implications and compliance issues
  • Preserve confidentiality of pre-trade information both internally and externally
  • Monitor local holidays in traded markets and complete close of business tasks

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in longer-term project work as the role evolves.

Requirements:

  • Quick learner with strong problem-solving and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of Bloomberg and Order Management and Execution Management Systems
  • Familiarity with FX and futures markets
  • STEM, Finance, or Economics graduate from a top university
  • At least 1 year of trading desk experience

Nice to Have:

  • Previous exposure to systematic strategies
  • Proficiency in VBA & R
  • Current or previous approval to perform the CDF function pursuant to the FCA's conduct rules
  • Relevant professional qualifications
