About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roadside Rescue Mechanic to join our team at The AA. As a key member of our roadside rescue team, you will be responsible for providing emergency assistance to our members, ensuring their safety and getting them back on the road as quickly as possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles at the roadside, utilizing your technical expertise to solve a variety of issues.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations and updates on the status of their vehicle.
  • Work independently, as well as collaboratively with other team members, to achieve our goals and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with relevant experience.
  • A full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less.
  • Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
