Position: Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician

Compensation: Up to £40,102.40 annually, along with comprehensive benefits

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a rotating shift pattern: 06:30AM - 15:00PM & 14:00PM - 22:30PM

Role Overview: As a Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our diverse fleet of over 100 vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that we continue to provide exceptional service across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily servicing, MOT preparation, and repairs on our heavy goods vehicles.
  • Ensure our fleet remains operational, enabling our teams to serve our customers effectively.
  • Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs to guarantee vehicle reliability and safety.
  • Maintain and repair both our fleet and third-party vehicles in line with industry standards.
  • Accurately complete all necessary documentation and time sheets.
  • Respond to roadside breakdowns as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Technician, preferably with an NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification.
  • Possession of a valid HGV driving license.
