Job Description

Recruit4Staff is proud to represent a leading Vehicle maintenance company in their search for skilled HGV Service Engineers to work in their Telford facility.

The successful candidate will enjoy:

i. A temporary to permanent position with opportunities for growth
ii. A competitive salary with regular overtime
iii. Overtime paid at time and a half
iv. Out of hours call out on a rota basis, with opportunities to earn extra income
v. A company van and mobile phone
vi. Manufacturer product training
vii. Monday to Friday working hours from 8am to 6pm

The Role - HGV Service Engineer:

i. Carrying out repairs on various trailers
ii. Inspection of vehicles
iii. Diagnosing faults to vehicles
iv. Carrying out minor repairs to vehicles, with more complex repairs done in the workshop
v. Lighting defects and air leak detection and rectification
vi. Completing jobs within given timescales

Our client is looking for a skilled HGV Service Engineer with:

i. A Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance (desirable)
ii. Experience working on HGV vehicles
iii. A positive attitude and ability to liaise with customers

Key Skills or Similar Job Titles:
