Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Specialist to join our team at TechnipFMC. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for providing commercial and contractual expertise to support our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain effective commercial and contractual relationships with suppliers and contractors.
- Provide expert advice on contract negotiation, administration, and management.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and systems, including risk and opportunity sensitivities.
- Coordinate and deliver department initiatives, including systems and procedures, lessons learned, and business improvements.
- Assist in the tendering, negotiation, and administration of allocated Frame Agreements.
- Analyse commodity spend information, including market analysis and develop sourcing strategies.
- Prepare and expedite signature of internal approval documents, including Contract Commitment Requests.
- Ensure adherence to contractor contract/project administration procedures.
- Attend weekly/monthly meetings as required.
- Claims management.
- Assist project managers in contractual matters during project duration.
- Assist contract holders with supplier management activities, including performance reviews.
- Attend vessel dry dockings as required to manage key supplier variations.
Requirements:
- Maintain responsibility and accountability through personal commitment and behavior.
- Maintain behavior in compliance with HSES requirements.
- Report any unsafe or environmentally unsound acts and conditions to their immediate supervisor.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level in an appropriate discipline or alternatively have Supply Chain education both formal (CIPS) and informal equivalent experience.
- Awareness of a commercial environment.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain processes.
