About the Role

**Enterprise Development Specialist**

Fauna & Flora International is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to play a leading and strategic role in shaping and delivering our work on enterprise development as a means for financing conservation and creating benefits for local partners, indigenous peoples, communities, and other stakeholders across our global program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies to incubate and scale enterprises that support conservation and community development.
  • Facilitate international market access and leverage private sector partnerships to drive business growth and impact.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for enterprise development and create business plans that align with our conservation goals.
  • Develop financial models, business valuations, and investment pitch decks to secure funding and support for our enterprise development initiatives.
  • Liaise with teams and stakeholders across cultures and geographies to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Lead and motivate task-focused teams to successful outcomes, and provide training and coaching to develop the skills and knowledge of our team members.
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree or equivalent level qualification in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in business and entrepreneurship, with a focus on conservation and community development.
  • Proven ability to apply business skills to complex issues and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English is essential, and French is highly desirable. Knowledge of languages relevant to our work, such as Bahasa, Swahili, Russian, Portuguese, or Spanish, will be highly valuable.

This role will be based in Cambridge with international travel as required to meet project needs.
