Senior Data Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our team at The Salvation Army UK and Ireland Territory. As a key member of our data management team, you will play a vital role in overseeing the data requirements of our prime contract.

With a strong background in data analysis and management, you will be responsible for managing a team of Data Analysts, supporting the effective delivery of contractual requirements, particularly relating to the collation, and reporting of management information and trend analysis.

You will also oversee the management and use of our case management system (CMS) and manage the secure processes related to the disclosure of data, including Subject Access requests.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team of Data Analysts to ensure the effective delivery of contractual requirements
  • Overseeing the management and use of our case management system (CMS)
  • Managing the secure processes related to the disclosure of data, including Subject Access requests
  • Building and producing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
  • Compiling management review information packs
  • Responding to ad hoc requests for data
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst who can lead our data management team and contribute to the success of our organization.

Requirements:

  • Strong proven experience in the use of case management systems with advanced Excel skills
  • Experience of successful people management and team leadership
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to draft and present business cases and reports
  • Demonstrable experience in contributing to the design and delivery of end-to-end technical process change management
  • The ability to think critically, creatively and be a solution focussed manager
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, effective time management and the ability to manage competing priorities to respond to tight deadlines
  • Strong data management and IT skills with experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and database systems
  • The ability to develop, implement, document and continuously improve processes, procedures and systems
  • The ability to travel to work locations within England and Wales, with occasional overnight stays as required
  • The ability and willingness to work within and be empathic with the Christian ethos and values of The Salvation Army Mission
