Tutor Opportunity in Saffron Walden

Prospero Teaching is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated tutor to work with students who require additional support with Maths and English curriculum.

As a tutor, you will create, plan, and deliver one-to-one lessons to bridge gaps in students' education, boost engagement, and attainment levels. This opportunity is ideal for a qualified teacher looking to transition into a more personalised teaching environment.

Students who have been out of education for an extended period often face challenges with their confidence levels. Your role will be to re-engage them in their learning and establish a structured routine.

We closely monitor each student's progress and provide ongoing support to ensure effective learning.

  • Location: Saffron Walden
  • Position: Tutor
  • Type of Work: Contract
  • Estimated Salary: £25 per hour (minimum 1 hour, maximum 3 hours per session)
  • Hours: Flexible scheduling available

Requirements:

  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS, or equivalent qualifications
  • At least 6 months' experience working in a UK school
  • Current Safeguarding training (desirable)
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service
  • Two professional child-related references covering the last two years
