As an Assembly Production Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the assembly of builds using hand and power tools, ensuring high standards of workmanship and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly and Fabrication: Assemble build components according to technical drawings and work instructions, ensuring all assemblies meet the required specifications.
- Tool Operation and Maintenance: Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, saws, grinders, and wrenches, to fabricate and assemble components, and perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and workstations.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of parts and assemblies to ensure quality and compliance with specifications, making adjustments as necessary.
- Material Handling and Preparation: Prepare and handle materials efficiently, ensuring all components are in compliance with quality standards before assembly.
- Team Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with colleagues, supervisors, and the broader production team to meet daily and weekly production targets, and adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe working practices at all times.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role, ideally within vehicle assembly.
- Strong proficiency in using hand and power tools, with a focus on safety and precision.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Keen attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good physical stamina and ability to handle heavy materials.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
Paying £11.50 per hour OR 12.88 PAYE Inclusive, with a competitive benefits package.
