Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and community-focused school in Old Trafford. This rewarding role involves providing tailored 1:1 support for children with Autism, adapting learning approaches to meet individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support for students with Autism, adapting learning approaches to meet individual needs.
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCO to implement personalised learning strategies, ensuring the child's academic and social development.
  • Create a positive, calm, and structured environment to help students with Autism feel safe and supported.
  • Engage with parents, teachers, and external professionals to provide consistent support and care.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
  • Have an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional references related to childcare.
  • Hold up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable).
