Role Overview

The Volunteer Engagement Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the right framework is in place to support volunteers and staff. This will involve managing volunteer data, developing innovative strategies to attract volunteers, and building strong relationships with operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage volunteer data and provide insights to inform decision-making
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage volunteers and improve their experience
  • Build relationships with operational teams and ensure inclusivity for all volunteers
  • Champion best practices in volunteer management and training delivery

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a people-related field
  • Proven experience in people management, volunteer coordination, or a related field
  • Exceptional administrative, IT, and communication skills
  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle for travel within the service area

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £31,000 to £34,000 per annum, depending on experience. The position also offers a range of benefits, including annual leave entitlement, pension scheme, occupational sick pay, and free car parking.
