Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Manager to lead our gym operations in Bristol Longwell Green. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving member engagement, leading our team of fitness trainers, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the gym.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead member engagement initiatives to drive satisfaction scores and member retention
- Line manage and develop our team of fitness trainers, promoting a culture of excellence and inclusivity
- Develop and implement the group exercise timetable, upskilling the team to deliver high-quality classes
- Drive commercial performance through result-driven initiatives and a keen interest in sales and revenue growth
- Ensure high operational standards are maintained through effective management of cleaning and maintenance procedures
- Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Support the General Manager with administrative tasks, including rotas, time tracking, and security checks
- Act as a keyholder for the gym, providing support in emergencies
Requirements
- Passion for health, fitness, and wellbeing, with a commitment to excellence
- Proven leadership skills, with experience in leading teams and driving results
- Ability to work within compliance parameters while delivering exceptional member service
- Level 2 qualified Fitness Instructor or currently studying for the qualification
