About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Manager to join our team at our Bristol Avonmeads gym. As a Fitness Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the General Manager in the successful running of the gym, and will be responsible for leading our in-gym service offering, line managing our team of fitness trainers, and developing our Group Exercise program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead our member engagement efforts to drive member satisfaction scores forward
  • Line manage and motivate our team of fitness trainers to deliver exceptional results
  • Develop and implement our Group Exercise program to meet the needs of our members
  • Take ownership of our gym's commercial performance, driving revenue growth and profitability
  • Ensure high operational standards are maintained through effective management of cleaning and maintenance procedures
  • Support the General Manager with administrative tasks, including rotas, time tracking, and security checks
  • Act as a keyholder for the gym, providing support in emergencies

Requirements
  • Passion for health, fitness, and well-being
  • Experience in leading teams and managing operations
  • Proven track record of success in a similar role
  • Level 2 qualified Fitness Instructor or currently studying for the qualification
