Parker Smith Inclusion Ltd is looking for a dedicated Educational Support Assistant to join their team at an innovative and inclusive school in Enfield, London. The successful candidate will support primary-aged students (aged 4-11) with complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs (SEN), promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, implementing strategies to engage students and facilitate learning.
  • Monitor and record student progress, reporting to teachers and other relevant staff as needed.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in SEN support.
  • Requirements:
    • Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in an early years or nursery setting.
    • Passion for working with children with autism and other SEN.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, adhering to the principles of the safeguarding policy.
    • Valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, with Parker Smith Inclusion Ltd's support.
