About the Role

Crisis, a national charity dedicated to ending homelessness, is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our Fundraising Department as a Supporter Engagement Assistant. This exciting opportunity will enable you to make a meaningful contribution to our mission and work collaboratively with a dynamic team to deliver exceptional supporter experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound contacts with potential and existing supporters across various channels, providing a high-quality service and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Deliver a memorable experience to Crisis supporters and members of the public, adding value to every interaction.
  • Identify and help resolve issues in the supporter journey, particularly those related to our website.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to improve the supporter experience and contribute to the development of new products and services.
Requirements
  • Experience working in telephone and email-based roles in supporter care or customer service.
  • Ability to organize workload and maintain a high level of output and accuracy during busy times.
  • Confidence in handling complaints and objections.
  • Proactive and collaborative approach to work.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
