We are seeking an experienced Environmental Test Team Leader to join our dynamic team in the automotive lighting development department. This role is pivotal in maintaining our reputation for delivering high-quality products that meet the stringent requirements of discerning customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing Design Verification Plan (DVP) test plans in collaboration with esteemed customers, managing a team of environmental test engineers, and overseeing the environmental test lab and equipment. They will also be responsible for monitoring testing activities for compliance with customer specifications, analysing test results, and communicating progress and results to customers.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Environmental Test Team Leader will identify and manage external test houses for additional testing requirements and ensure the reliability and compliance of new products through rigorous environmental testing. This role will contribute directly to our company's growth and continued success in the European and North American markets.

This exciting opportunity is based at our state-of-the-art facilities, equipped with extensive design, development, and test capabilities, supporting our mission to lead technology innovation in automotive lighting.

The ideal candidate will have a degree/HND in engineering or a scientific subject, with at least three years of experience in a Test Engineer role. They will also have hands-on experience with climatic chambers, vibration test equipment, salt fog, and water spray equipment, as well as excellent team working, planning, and organisational skills.

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits including health insurance, pension scheme, and professional development opportunities.
