About the Role
Manton Heights ABI Unit is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join their team. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, individualized care to patients with neurological conditions, including stroke and brain injury.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized rehabilitation plans for patients with neurological conditions.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve patients' functional abilities, independence, and quality of life.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote independence and self-management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
Requirements
- BSc Hons Degree in Occupational Therapy and valid HCPC registration.
- Minimum 12-18 months experience in neurology, with some experience in rehabilitation preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to drive and access to a vehicle for home and access visits.
