Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced pharmacy dispenser to join our homecare team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing prescriptions and invoices, as well as dealing with queries and providing cover and support for other team members.

Main Responsibilities
  • Raise orders and process invoices using the patient specific ordering system (EMIS).
  • Monitor and maintain all pharmacy databases that relate to homecare services.
  • Provide cover and support for other homecare staff as required.
  • Work as part of the team processing prescriptions for homecare supplies to patients in line with departmental procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice/prescription queries by liaising with external homecare companies, trust clinicians, and relevant trust pharmacy homecare staff.
Requirements
  • GCSE or equivalent at grade A-C in maths and English.
  • Attendance on training courses for computer skills.
  • Understanding of basic professional purchasing principles and procurement technology.
