White Oak UK is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for processing purchase invoices, updating the purchase ledger, and ensuring the sales ledger is up to date. You will also be responsible for daily banking transactions, processing expenses, and updating the cash book.
Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase invoices and update the purchase ledger
- Ensure the sales ledger is up to date
- Deal with daily banking transactions and update the cash book
- Process expenses
- Update the daily banking transactions in the cash book
- Post receipts to Netsuite and Leasesoft
- Raise sales commission invoices on Netsuite
- Update the board sheet with daily invoicing and own book reports
- Process referral fees
- Load payments to HSBC net for purchases and own book payouts
- Receive and distribute purchase invoices for signing and posting to Netsuite
- Responsible for the weekly purchase ledger payment run
- Aged debtors - chase payment and deal with invoicing queries from funders
- Day 1 - load own book movements into Netsuite
- Monthly and half-monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, including investigation and resolution of unallocated items
- Reconcile own book suspense accounts
- Assist with processing of commission clawbacks
Requirements
- Previous experience in an accounts role
- Computer literacy, Excel essential, Netsuite accountancy software preferred
- Studying or have a desire to be studying AAT
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
