About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Healthcare Solutions Expert - Clinical Systems to join our team in supporting the continued stabilisation and optimisation of our recently implemented Apollo Programme.

This programme deployed a number of digital solutions across multiple sites and organisation powered by our Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Main Responsibilities
  • Delivering and developing a share of the Epic and other software systems' configuration build;
  • Supporting non-Epic systems within the team, working with Medical Device Integration (MDI), KCH, GSTT and ITCS technology colleagues;
  • Overseeing the work of the Band 6 Analyst;

The successful candidate will be responsible for being a link person between the ITCS team, system users and other stakeholders, helping to direct careful planning for systems implementation and the roll-out process.

You will be a member of the multi-disciplinary configuration team, ensuring a consistent approach to the configuration and integration between the Epic modules and across the wider team.

Key responsibilities include managing, coordinating and leading the configuration requirements, ensuring the build is delivered in a timely way.

You will also be a key member of a designated Configuration and Application team, ensuring design integrity, and assisting with preparation for the testing and upgrading of the system.

Requirements
  • Experience in the analysis and design of clinical solutions to meet clinicians' and business requirements;
  • Significant experience of interpreting business/clinical requirements and considering the impact on IT services;
  • Demonstrable experience documenting and mapping workflows as well as the results of the clinical analysis;
  • Experience in change management with respect to the relationship between clinician, business processes, risk management and solution functional capabilities;

A strong understanding of workflow and processes required in an acute NHS Trust and/or community settings is essential, as well as the ability to juggle multiple, sometimes conflicting deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of clinical environment and delivery of clinical care or significant experience in a clinical analyst role and within a systems development environment preferably within the NHS or health care related field.

The salary for this position is £54,320-£60,981 per annum inclusive of HCAS, based in London SE5 9NU and SE1 7NJ.
