Service Delivery Manager

Avenues Group is a specialist charity provider of supported living, residential care, and outreach services for people with autism, learning disability, and complex needs.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our team and enhance the transition from long-term inpatient status with the NHS into a supported living model. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Supported Living and excellent leadership skills.
- Lead and manage change, improving the quality of life for individuals with a learning disability.
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership to our recently established support team.
- Maintain high standards of care and compliance while ensuring the continued smooth transition for the people we support.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing a medium to large supported living or residential/registered service, supporting people who have learning disabilities and/or complex needs, and knowledge of the legal framework that applies in this service. A valid driving licence is essential as regular travel to the service location will be required.
Key Responsibilities- To lead and manage the delivery of high-quality support services to individuals with learning disabilities.
- To develop and implement effective strategies to improve the quality of life for service users.
- To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- A minimum salary of £45,000 per annum.
- A degree in Social Work or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
