Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Paediatrician to join our team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a special interest in Endocrine, Oncology, or Neonates and will be able to provide acute paediatric emergency and ambulatory care.

The job will involve providing Consultant of the week cover on Paediatrics, Neonates, and the Paediatrics Assessment unit, as well as taking on-call in both acute Paediatrics and neonatology. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to develop their special interest in outpatient activities.

About the Role

The Consultant Paediatrician will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of the department. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Eligible for entry on the General Medical Register or within six months of receipt of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT)
  • SPIN training in the area of special interest
