We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Consultant Paediatricians to join our team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to the development of our paediatric services.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team of 14 consultants and contribute to the provision of attending and on-call services for General Paediatrics and Level 1 Neonatal Unit. You will be responsible for providing acute paediatric emergency and ambulatory care, as well as taking on-call in both acute Paediatrics and neonatology (level 1).
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care to patients with a range of paediatric conditions, including those with specialist interests in Endocrine, Oncology, and Neonates.
- Contribute to the development of our paediatric services, including the provision of outpatient activities and the opportunity to further develop special interests.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in on-call rotas and provide cover for Paediatrics, Neonates, and the Paediatrics Assessment unit.
We are looking for experienced Consultant Paediatricians who have a strong interest or experience in Endocrine, Oncology, or General Paediatrics. If you do not have the relevant experience, we will support you to develop this role, which will be included in your job plan.
