Freelance Interpreter Required for Language Empire in the UK

Are you a skilled linguist looking for a challenging role in interpretation and translation services?
Language Empire, a leading provider of professional interpreting and translation services in the UK, is currently recruiting freelance interpreters to work in various settings.
As a freelance interpreter, you will be responsible for interpreting for individuals using legal, health, and local government services, ensuring accurate communication and understanding.
Key responsibilities include:
- Interpreting for service users in legal, health, and local government settings
- Checking the non-English speaker's understanding after each sentence
- Consecutive and public service interpreting
- Handling confidential information with discretion
- Liaising between service users and providers
Requirements:
- Fluent English and another language
- Right to work in the UK
- Aged 21 or over
- Formal qualifications in translation or interpreting, such as DPSI or CIOL
