Job Title: AV Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled AV Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Telefónica Tech. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and support of our servers, storage, and associated technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide proactive support and monitoring to our MS hosted environments
  • Triage and resolve issues raised by customers and internal users
  • Provide second-line support to our RDS environment
  • Deploy and monitor virtual machines on our VMware Hypervisor platforms
Requirements:
  • Experience of working to ITIL processes and guidelines
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage priorities
  • Experience of working within a dedicated IT department
  • Understanding of Virtualisation and backup technologies
  • Understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy Management
  • Service Desk software experience
  • Experience of working with Blue Light Services
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work on initiative and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and access to a form of transport
Technical Skills:
  • ITIL v3 foundation or higher
  • VMware deployment of Virtual Machines
  • Automated Patch management third-party tools
  • Methodical troubleshooting approach and strong attention to detail
  • Active Directory Management
  • Group Policy Management
Working Hours:

Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) based on a rolling shift pattern which includes weekend working on either a Saturday or Sunday, 1 in 3 weeks.
