Job Summary
The IT Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and services. This includes managing the IT Service Delivery Manager, IT Infrastructure Manager, and working closely with Business Solutions Managers to resource and support business projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Cyber Essentials governance and the implementation of ITIL policies
- Coordinate all aspects of IT operations and infrastructure, including networking, On-Prem servers, Azure services, service desk operations, core Windows applications, and physical networking
- Work closely with the Cyber Security Manager to ensure robust security measures are in place
- Provide strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in IT operations management, including managing IT Service Delivery and IT Infrastructure teams
- Proficiency in the ITIL framework, Cyber Essentials governance, and core Windows applications like Active Directory
- Strong leadership, organisational, and multitasking skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Desirable qualifications include ITIL and Cyber Essentials certifications, experience in a similar industry, and knowledge of project management methodologies
