Financial Services Regulatory Advisory Associate Director

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Regulatory Advisory practice, part of the Financial Services Group (FSG). This role will offer challenging project work where each assignment is unique. You will primarily work for clients in the banking sector; insurance, investment management, etc.

A Closer Look at the Role

  • Lead on various projects, including conduct, remediation and redress, consumer duty, governance ensuring timely completion within budget.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant regulatory requirements and help develop services to meet client needs.
  • Oversee the delivery of regulatory projects to the highest quality standards, managing resources effectively to optimize project profitability.
  • Contribute to business development activities and sales pitches, drafting proposals that showcase your expertise.
  • Engage the Regulatory Advisory team and other stakeholders to ensure correct skill utilization on all projects.
  • Drive financial performance by managing costs, maximizing revenue opportunities, and achieving profitability targets.

The Ideal Candidate

To excel as a Financial Services Regulatory Advisory Associate Director, you'll need experience in a regulatory role within practice and industry. Desirable skills include:

  • Prior work experience in the Risk, Compliance or Controls function of a UK bank.
  • Prior work experience at a Professional Services firm.
  • Knowledge of Consumer Duty regulations and application within a UK bank.
  • Experience working on regulatory change projects.
  • Ability to manage internal or external stakeholders and work within set project timeframes.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
