About the Role
As a Public Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing specialist care to a defined community population in Gloucestershire. Your primary goal is to ensure that service users receive appropriate intervention, maintaining the standards set at local and national level.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based specialist care adapted to meet the needs of a defined community population
- Negotiate individual and family healthcare plans with service users, continually assessing and evaluating to ensure that agreed outcomes are adequately met
- Work in partnership with members of the multidisciplinary team and statutory and voluntary agencies in planning, delivering and evaluating care to improve outcomes for service users

What You Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you must have active registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) on part 1 or 2. Additionally, you should possess a strong understanding of research application in practice and knowledge of health visiting policies and procedures that underpin evidence-based practice.

The estimated salary for this position is around £34,000-£44,000 per annum, depending on your experience.
