About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Project Worker to join our team at John Baker House, a homelessness service in Salisbury. As a Project Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who have experienced homelessness to maximize their potential and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to encourage customers to achieve their goals and maintain personal choice, privacy, and dignity.
  • Assess customers' needs by writing and updating support plans.
  • Be a first point of contact for customer queries and direct them to relevant services.
  • Liaise with external support links to improve customers' confidence, health, and wellbeing.
  • Handle emergency situations and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with adults who have experienced homelessness.
  • Enthusiastic and flexible attitude with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards.
