About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Materials Testing Engineer to join our team. As a Site Materials Technician, you will play a crucial role in our field operations, responsible for performing on-site testing and extraction of asphalt, aggregates, earthworks, and concrete.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing on-site testing and extraction of materials
  • Manual tool usage to extract materials up to 10 kg tool weight
  • Handling and transporting materials and samples
  • Assisting the Site Services Team Leader in coordinating and scheduling activities
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations and industry standards
  • Providing support to other site personnel
Requirements
  • GCSEs (grade C or above)
  • Attention to detail for accurate record-keeping
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Full driving license
  • CSCS card preferred
  • Experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not essential
