Becoming a Court Usher at Brook Street provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the administration of justice in your community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as an essential first point of contact for court users
  • Providing aid to colleagues and judiciary outside of court/hearing times
  • General clerical work, including use of computers and Switchboard
  • Filling out forms
  • Operating recording equipment and maintaining records of recordings of hearings
  • Sorting and delivering lists of hearings for internal and external notice boards

The salary for this role is £26,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience.
