About the Role

We are seeking a Court Usher to act as an essential first point of contact for court users.

  • You will collect and deliver files and bundles to the judiciary and clerks, ensuring they have the necessary papers.
  • You will provide support to colleagues and judiciary outside of court times.
  • General clerical duties include using computers and operating the Switchboard.
  • You will complete forms and maintain records of recordings of hearings.
  • You will sort and deliver lists of hearings for internal and external notice boards.
  • You will prepare rooms for hearings, tribunals, trials, meetings, and clear the court/hearing room at the end of the day.
