Job Summary

Copello Global is seeking a highly skilled Principal Systems IVVQ Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the full life cycle verification and validation activities required to formally evidence complex solutions as part of a system engineering approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Systems V&V artefacts such as Strategies, Plans, Procedures, Matrices and Reports to ensure progressively assuring desired outcomes.
  • Carry out Systems V&V activities in accordance with Systems V&V artefacts to ensure successful internal, qualification and acceptance events.
  • Manage the use of external V&V facilities/test houses, including organising EMC and TEMPEST qualification, and collaboratively develop test harnesses with test houses.
  • Stay up-to-date with technical knowledge and attend applicable training courses to maintain expertise.
  • Contribute to improving processes, tools and techniques to increase the quality and efficiency of engineering.
  • Provide specialist knowledge and support to the wider engineering team.
  • Lead, mentor and coach V&V to engineers and non-technical resources, sharing knowledge willingly and constructively.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Systems Engineering/V&V of solutions formed of Hardware, Software and Firmware components.
  • Demonstrable experience of INCOSE/ISO 15288 Systems Engineering of complex solutions.
  • Technical and line management experience of a team of systems engineers.
  • Experience in writing high-quality technical documentation and the formal technical review of such material.
Desirable Qualifications
  • INCOSE recognition ASEP or CSEP.
  • Experience working as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) and developing new areas of expertise as and when required.
  • ISTQB attained.
  • Experience in test automation, frameworks and marriage with manual testing for an overall test campaign.
  • Scripting languages: JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Perl, Bash, Rest, MySQL.
