Job Title: Quality Control Specialist

About the Role:
As a Quality Control Specialist at Defence, you will play a critical role in ensuring the precision components we manufacture meet the highest standards. This includes inspection of components from various sources, creation of CMM programs using PC-DMIS, and development of setup/operation instructions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect precision components to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Create and run CMM programs for new and legacy components.
  • Develop and maintain setup/operation instructions for CMM programs.
  • Perform first off inspections and FAI reporting for single level parts and multi-level assemblies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices.
  • Experience with CMM programming and operation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
