About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environment Manager to join our team at Telent Technology Services Limited. As an EHS Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and oversee environmental health and safety programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities.
  • Establish suitable inspection programs to ensure compliance with procedures, client requirements, and EHS laws, standards, and regulations.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure the effective assurance of supply chain and the definition of standards required for approval and retention of key suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • Manage project EHS requirements and resources.
  • Manage day-to-day accident and incident databases.
  • Produce and support monthly reports.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a Health and Safety role within the Rail industry.
  • Strong communication and team management skills.
  • CMIOSH and NEBOSH Diploma is essential.
  • High-level working knowledge of Rail industry standards and legislation.
  • Management experience in a similar role in the Rail industry is essential.
  • Relevant auditor qualifications (minimum internal auditor qualification).
  • Full NR PTS (Personal Track Safety) qualification desirable.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Ability to travel and work nights/weekends on rare occasions.
