Experienced MET Technician Required

Rubber Duck Cars is seeking a skilled and experienced MET Technician to join our team in Darlington. As a key member of our bodyshop team, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical and bodywork repairs, inspections, and diagnostic work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out all necessary mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs.
  • Dismantle vehicles ready for the panel shop.
  • Carry out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work.
  • Order replacement parts.
  • Re-assemble the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident condition.
Requirements:
  • Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready to agreed on timescales.
  • Work skillfully and safely under pressure.
  • Carry out work in accordance with manufacturers' specification.
  • Work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Be flexible in your approach.
  • Continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.
  • Ensure that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines.
