We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children in Year 6 and contribute to their educational development.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working with children, preferably in a Key Stage 2 setting. They should possess good basic literacy and numeracy skills (to GCSE level or above) and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
This role involves supporting children in the classroom, leading small group activities focused on literacy and numeracy, and assisting the class teacher with daily setup and running of the classroom. The successful candidate will also have lunch and break time duties.
We offer a supportive staff team and parent community, as well as ongoing training and support. If you are enthusiastic, patient, and able to build positive relationships with children and staff, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting children in the classroom
