Wayman Education is seeking a dedicated Academic Historian to join a prestigious mixed school in Cambridge. As a successful candidate, you will be expected to teach History at Key Stages 3 and 4.

The department boasts a friendly and supportive Head of Department, and the school has a long-standing history of academic excellence. The students' behaviour is good, and they respond well to the teaching they receive.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers, ECTs, and overseas candidates with a formal teaching qualification and QTS to showcase their skills and contribute to the school's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality History lessons to students at KS3 & KS4
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
  • History expertise with the ability to teach at KS3 & KS4
  • Licence to work in the UK
