Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Active Leisure Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and coaching to learners undertaking Active Leisure and personal training apprenticeship qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments with potential learners to ensure they enroll on the appropriate program and identify any additional support needs.
- Conduct sign-up meetings, completing all necessary paperwork accurately.
- Regularly review progress with learners and line managers.
- Plan and deliver training and coaching to learners.
- Assess evidence and work submitted by learners, providing constructive feedback.
- Provide regular updates on learner progress.
- Ensure learners' outcomes are achieved on time.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of assessment, feedback, progress, and reviews.
- Support with Functional Skills delivery – English & Maths level 2.
- Attend and participate in regular standardization of practice and maintain currency of own expertise via regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A level 3 personal training qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate and timely records.
