We're Glowmade Ltd, a small, exciting company that creates games to unlock people's imagination and help them express themselves in wonderful, fun ways.
We're currently building a new multiplayer cooperative game with an ambitious creative wrapper around it. Our goal is to deliver a sleek, polished project that shines through unimpaired by blemishes.
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the game's quality and user experience. You'll work closely with our QA Lead, Michael Cole, to identify faults and feedback, and report and log issues within our bug database.
Key responsibilities include:
- Getting into the game and giving it a discerning eye to identify faults and feedback.
- Team up with other testers to tackle multiplayer situations with combined scrutiny.
- Reporting and logging issues within our bug database, using clear language and instructions to describe the cause.
Within six months, you'll become a knowledge base on elements of the game, able to answer questions and spot things out of place. You'll also become comfortable with the variety of platforms we work on, and build up an understanding of the hurdles that a game has to jump to release to the public.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate would have experience with playing multiplayer games, a focus on detail, and confidence to point out even the smallest problems.
We're based in Guildford, UK, and offer competitive wages. We're an actively equal opportunities employer, and we're committed to empowering our team members to use their voice and contribute to our company's success.
