Role Overview:
As a Technology Lead Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the advancement of cutting-edge technology. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee research initiatives that align with strategic technology roadmaps, encompassing aspects from architecture and design to conceptualization and requirements gathering. Collaboration is essential; you will engage closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that projects are progressing effectively and are supported by robust engineering methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage hands-on with emerging technologies, staying informed about new trends and assessing potential risks.
- Contribute to the development of business proposals and cases, facilitating the pursuit of new opportunities.
- Lead a small team of skilled engineers, fostering collaboration and dismantling traditional barriers to achieve optimal outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree or HND in a STEM discipline, preferably with a specialization in Systems Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience with Model-Based Engineering and Systems Engineering methodologies.
  • Proficiency in modeling languages such as SysML/UML.
  • Understanding of software engineering principles, including SOLID practices and development in high-level programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Java).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies throughout project phases.
  • Strong capabilities in technical data analysis, report generation, and business case formulation.
  • Background in the architecture, design, development, integration, and certification of technological systems.
  • Familiarity with open systems architectures and software-driven methodologies, including containerization and microservices.
