Role Overview:
As a Technology Lead Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the advancement of cutting-edge technology. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee research initiatives that align with strategic technology objectives, encompassing everything from system architecture and design to conceptualization and requirements gathering. Collaboration is essential—you will engage closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are progressing effectively and are supported by robust engineering methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
In this position, you will actively engage with emerging technologies, monitoring industry advancements and assessing potential challenges. You will also be involved in developing business proposals and cases, contributing to the pursuit of new opportunities. As a Technology Lead Engineer, you will lead a small group of skilled engineers, fostering teamwork and dismantling conventional barriers to achieve optimal outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or HND in a STEM discipline, preferably with a specialization in Systems Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Model-Based Engineering and Systems Engineering methodologies
  • Expertise in modeling languages such as SysML/UML
  • Comprehension of software engineering principles, including SOLID guidelines and development in high-level programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Java)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies throughout project phases
  • Strong capabilities in technical data analysis, report generation, and business case formulation
  • Experience in architecting, designing, developing, integrating, and certifying technology systems
  • Familiarity with open systems architectures and software-driven strategies like containerization and microservices
