About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Practice Plus Group. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide medicines management services to support the delivery of patient care, including the timely administration of medicines and the analysis of cost-effective prescribing.
- Assist with the implementation and development of pharmacy support services across the prison, including the counselling of patients on the correct use of medication.
- Dispense medicines to agreed standards, calculating doses and quantities for supply where required.
Requirements
- Hold NVQ Level 3, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC).
- Have relevant post-qualification experience working within a pharmacy environment and multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to work unsupervised while following policy and procedures.
