Job Title: EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our EYFS team in a Primary School in Hackney.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with the SENCo to provide support to children with special educational needs in the EYFS setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons to meet the needs of children with SEN
  • Provide individualized support to children with SEN, including those with physical, sensory, or learning disabilities
  • Collaborate with the SENCo and other staff to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of all children

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a passion for working with children with SEN. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of child development and special educational needs
