Freight Transportation Specialist

As a key member of our logistics team, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to customers in a timely and safe manner. This role requires excellent time management and organizational skills, as well as the ability to handle and lift heavy items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive and deliver goods to customers across various locations.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled carefully.
- Follow delivery routes and time schedules accurately.
- Maintain delivery vehicle in good working condition.
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times and resolve any issues.
- Complete delivery records and paperwork accurately.
- Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driver's license (Category B or higher).
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to handle and lift heavy items.
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends.
